September 2018 PTO Meeting

Our first PTO meeting of the 2018-2019 school year took place on Monday evening, September 10, and we had a great turnout and got a lot of good work done.

The new PTO executive board was introduced, and we also met most of the PTO committee chairs for this year and learned a little about the various things the PTO will be doing around Bristow Run this year.

Mrs. Jeck shared a brief report about our enrollment for this year and how the first days of school have gone (sounds like they’ve been really good!).

The biggest item on the agenda was learning about the revisions that were made during our biennial bylaws review. The members in attendance approved our new bylaws, and those will be going up on our website shortly.

Alexa Nuckols was the big winner of our drawing for a $25 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings. We’ll be announcing another fun drawing or activity for our October meeting, so stay tuned.

A huge thanks to the 20+ people who attended last night’s meeting. Our families and teachers literally are the PTO, and without you, our important work doesn’t get done. Thanks for giving your time and your consideration by attending our meeting last night.
